To complete the AFI Program:

If you are currently enrolled in the AFI program and you have taken the online financial literacy course AND reached your $500 savings goal AND your account has been open for at least 6 months, please send an email to request a liquidation of your IDA account to the Student Services Manager. 

The liquidation request email should include:
 

  • your name
  • the semester you are using the funds (ex. Fall 2010)*
  • student id number
  • school's name
  • the address of the office that receives scholarship payments
  • your current contact info.

*Please note that AFI liquidations can ONLY be sent at the beginning of a semester/quarter, so please plan accordingly. You may also want to let your financial aid department know when the funds will be sent as it may affect other aid you are receiving.
